Kendriya Vidyalya Tenga Valley is situated in the lap of nature, surrounded by mountain walls under the blue sky. It has been established in the year of 1973. Maj. Gen A. N. Mathur was the first chairman of the Vidyalaya where as Mr. K. L. Katiar worked as the first Principal. The Vidyalaya has been honored by 25 Chairmen and 17 Principals so for. Foundation stone of the present building was laid by Mr. Bansi Lal, Defence Minister, on 17th April 1976. It was inaugurated on 29th March 1977 by Lt. Gen S.L. Menezes .At present 679 students are getting education in this Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya functions are going on under guidance of 37 members of staff.
